The practice of strengthen the subconscious has been done since ancient times all over the world. The subconscious mind is non-local, impersonal. It rules not only our actions, but everything around us. Florence Scovel Shinn wrote: “The subconscious, being simply power without direction, carries out orders without questioning…Working under the direction of the superconscious….”the resurrection of the body” would be accomplished. Shinn attributes the superconscious as being the Christ (inner light).  The subconscious mind can be seen as our “darkness”, “the depths” “our inner mysteries”. The language of the Vasuh (Footprints of the Crow) allows us to have relationship between the subconscious and the super-conscious minds. The super-conscious is the “crow (our awareness) and its footprints (vasuh letter) are triggers that it uses to subjugate the subconscious mind for beneficial purposes. This can help deal with mood swings, anxiety, stress, fear and other mental and emotional issue that the subconscious mind deals with.

It is written in the Ivory Tablets (ninzuwu philosophy) that “the mere reflection of these words caused that which is self-aware to stare at itself in darkness; yet remain whole.”

This means that part of us, which is self-aware now begins to “stare at itself,” meaning that we engage in the act of self-observation.  The Vasuh language resonates within the subconscious mind like no other set of words. It can be used to purify this aspect of the mind that we may gain immortality/constant self-awareness.

The use of the vasuh letter/ footprints of the crow is similar to Reiki healing technique.  The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things. The Reiki symbols are like keys that open doors; The symbols trigger a belief or intention built into the symbols that helps the user to get the results intended. The different symbols also quickly connect the user to the universal life force. When a Reiki practitioner draws, thinks about or visualizes a symbol it will instantly connect to the energies it represents. As you can see the vasuh letters work similar to the Reiki but allows you to communication with the universal energy in a more detailed alchemical way.

It is also known as we empower our ancestors; we are truly empowering our DNA. This principle is expressed in a Wikipedia article under the topic of Chinese Folk Religion:

“The shen of men who are properly cultivated and honoured after their death are upheld ancestors and progenitors (zuxian 祖先 or simply zu 祖). When ancestries aren’t properly cultivated the world falls into disruption, and they become gui (vengeanceful spirits). Ancestral worship is intertwined with totemism, as the earliest ancestors.

It is also written; ancestors are means of connection to the Tian-Taidi, the primordial god which does not have form (universe). As ancestors have form, they shape the destiny of humans. Ancestors who have had a significant impact in shaping the destiny of large groups of people, or even the entirety of the Chinese nation (cultural heroes), are exalted among the highest gods/spirits.”

We can better the condition of those family members who have passed on by nurturing and cultivating our DNA (consciously). By healing certain subconscious issues that has plague us all through cleansing charka blockages. Strengthen our awareness in our self, our ancestors and the universe. Recognition is one of the most powerful healing processes unknown to mankind.

Renowned Psychologist Eric Berne creator of the Psychology Transactional Analysis; (the method for studying interactions between individuals).  He explain the value of Recognition in his book “Games people Play”  which he defines as a stroke  the “fundamental unit of social action.”11 A stroke is a unit of recognition, when one person recognizes another person either verbally or non-verbally.

Berne introduced the idea of strokes into Transactional Analysis based upon the work of Rene Spitz, a researcher who did pioneering work in the area of child development. Spitz observed that infants deprived of handling – in other words, not receiving any strokes – were more prone to emotional and physical difficulties. These infants lacked the cuddling, touching, and handling that most other infants received.

Berne took Spitz’s observations of these infants and developed theories about the needs of adults for strokes. Berne postulated that adults need physical contact just like infants, but have learned to substitute other types of recognition instead of physical stimulation. So while an infant needs cuddling, an adult craves a smile, a wink, a hand gesture, or other form of recognition. Berne defined the term recognition-hunger as this requirement of adults to receive strokes.

Eric Bernes show us the benefits of recognition that has been known and used throughout history. This same action can easily be seen in what people call Ancestral worship. This process is done in both was as said earlier “As we empower our ancestors, we are truly empowering our DNA”. The more we  recognize our ancestors the stronger our recognition of universal energy vibrate through us. It is like nurturing the soil/ subconscious to make stronger roots/ ancestors to have better fruits/future.  The relationship is equal to how a plant absorb carbon dioxide and gives off oxygen what not useful to us it is useful to them vice versa.
